Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol for reconstituting lyophilized peptides.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which suppresses bacterial growth and allows a vial to be accessed more than once. It is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. Supplied in a 30 mL multi-dose glass vial with a sealed rubber stopper.
Ingredients
Sterile water for injection, 0.9% benzyl alcohol (bacteriostatic preservative).
Directions
For research use only. Wipe the stopper with an alcohol pad before each withdrawal. Draw the required volume and introduce it slowly against the inside wall of the peptide vial. Store at room temperature.
